Tilt Milk began with Shaolin's own pumping experience. She understood how demanding the process could feel and believed mothers deserved a more supportive option. What began as a personal need became four years of designing, testing, refining, and continuing to move an original idea toward production.

The current prototype demonstrates the central idea behind Tilt Milk—a separate, ergonomic support device designed to work alongside an existing breast pump and support a mother in a more comfortable forward-leaning position.

What comes next

From Prototype to Production

A functional prototype is a major step, but it is not the final step. Before Tilt Milk can be offered to the public, the product must move through production preparation, which may include final engineering, design refinement, manufacturing setup, material decisions, testing, packaging, and fulfillment planning. This stage is about turning a successful prototype into a product that can be produced consistently and responsibly. We will share meaningful milestones as the work continues.
